After you’ve hit the ball, you should follow through with a continued rotation to the left. And make sure to swing slowly and steadily using good rhythm and good biomechanics.
At the end of your swing, the weight should be shifted almost entirely to the left foot, the body fully turned to the left and the hands above the left shoulder with the club hanging down over the back. Putting can become a recurring nightmare and a condition called the ‘yips’ has affected not only amateurs but many golf professionals so you should get expert advice and consider a golf swing trainer if this happens to you.
By using just a few simple tips, techniques and stretches, you can increase the distance of your drives by up to 20 yards – almost overnight. One good exercise is to hold a medicine ball in front of you and turn back and forth, left and right as far as you can go. It must be rotational if you want to improve on your driving distance. And because the proper golf swing is mostly rotational it really makes sense to concentrate on your turning ability as it relates to both range of motion and speed. You never want to underestimate the sheer value of fitness when it comes to your golf swing and your overall golf game.

What is a good tip to maintain good tempo during golf swing?For putting…i use the method…4 inches back=10 ft roll…and say peanut during the backswing and follow thru with butter…any similar tips for the golf swing? Been getting pretty good results with this….anything similar to this for a full golf swing?

ive been playin for years and i have the same exact problem, however instead of trying to fix it I use it to my advantage. Play the hook the right way and it could work just as well.
Aim the ball slightly more to the left when you hit, at first it will feel unnatural but once you see how your ball moves it will make sense. Plus on doglegs right you will have a natural curve that will really help.
I play my hook well but when I want to hit straight I drive with a 4 iron instead of a driver. You get less distance but you get the desired accuracy. I play every week and my average is around 79. You cant argue with results
As a golfer who carries a 1.6 handicap and shoots around par, I have 3 things that I feel you need to work on in order to improve your golf swing technique and start playing good golf in a short amount of time.
1. The first thing is to focus on a good grip. This is crucial because it is your only link to the golf club. You want two knuckles showing on the left hand (If you are right handed) and you want to make sure that your grip pressure is light. Gripping the club hard causes tension, which is not good for the golf swing.
2. The second thing that you should work on is your stance and backswing. Make sure that you have a good posture, and that you set up to the ball "like an athelete." This will help you a lot to improve your golf swing technique. You should start your backswing by letting your hands, arms, and shoulders move away from the ball at the same time.
3. The third thing is to start your downsing by rotating, not swaying your front hip toward the ball. This will increase your power and accuracy. Just make sure that you do not start the downswing with your hands, as this is a big no no!

The most important thing in a golf swing is a nice, smooth tempo.
You should always have only one thought in your head while you are swinging, whether it be tempo, weight transfer, straight-left arm, ect.
As far as hitting the ball crisp, a smooth swing should be your #1 priority. When you are practicing, you can even count it out. 1…2…3 on the way back 1…2..3 on the way forward.
